Experience of the Erasmus+ youth exchange project

I am beyond excited to share highlights from my latest Erasmus+ youth exchange project, “Greening Project: For the Sake of a Clean Environment,” which brought together young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece, Azerbaijan, Italy, and Turkey. 🌱💪

Our shared purpose was clear: to tackle the urgent environmental issues facing our world. Our mission was to raise awareness, offer solutions, and inspire others to help protect our environment before it's too late. ⌛🌱

The project was hosted in the beautiful town Loutrakion, Greece 📍 , where we explored a range of pollution challenges faced by each participating country. We learned a lot from each other’s experiences through workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities: 🌍 Environmental Pollution Exploration – Investigating various types of environmental pollution to understand their effects on ecosystems and communities. 🎨

Make My Own Project – Encouraged us to tap into our creativity to design meaningful projects in our national countries. 📌

One of the activities that left a lasting impression on me was our hike to the Saint Patapios Monastery. Together, we collected trash from the surrounding area and recycled it, transforming waste into something useful. This activity not only sparked our creativity but also reminded us of the responsibility we all have toward the environment. ♻🚮💡

We also ensured eco-friendly practices throughout the project, including using reusable cups and focusing on sustainable living during our stay. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing coach, Pulkit Tyagi, who generously shared his precious knowledge, guiding us not only as a teacher but also as a friend throughout the project. 👏

Moreover, through my work engagement with Mozaik Foundation and Mozaik ESG Solutions, I have gained invaluable insights into the importance of ESG principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as the critical role of environmental protection and sustainability in all aspects of entrepreneurship. I am extremely grateful that my work experience has ignited my passion for these important topics! 🍀🧡
